If you didn’t know, static grass comes in various lengths and is charged with static electricity, hence the name “static grass”. After you add adhesive to an area of your model environment where you want to add a grass effect you sprinkle the static grass onto the adhesive and the static charge makes it stand on end and dry that way. The effect you desire will dictate whether you want 2MM grass or 10MM grass tufts or another length.
Our 10mm Grass Tufts can be used to create bushes and shrubs, uncut lawn grass, wild grasslands, woodland grass or any other effect you have in mind. You get 100 self-adhesive tufts of static grass that can be bunched together or sprinkled throughout a rugged landscape to create an effect you might find in a high mountain environment. A perfect material for creating realistic model railroads, dioramas and wargame environments.
The grass in Northern Europe has a look and feel all its own and you can accurately recreate it in your railway environment or diorama using our North European Self-Adhesive Static Grass Tufts. These are also 10MM grass tufts that have a distinctly northern colouration and texture about them that is going to really sell your viewers on the authenticity of your model landscape environment.

Answer...Unfortunately, we do not sell different sized sieve heads for the Micro Applicator. Only the Pro Grand Applicator comes with three different sized sieve heads.
Here are some key things for you to check when applying static grass using our applicator:
Use a powerful brand-new battery (PP3 9V battery).
Do not fill the hopper with too much grass, as the grass needs to have space to move.
Only apply a smear of basing glue on the required area and make sure to apply the basing grass before it dries. Room temperature can affect this.
Do not apply too much basing grass to the area. If you cover the basing glue with too much grass it will not stand but go flat.
Once you have applied the basing grass and cannot see the basing glue anymore, add some layering spray before applying the layering grass.
Make sure the crocodile clip is near the applicator's head when applying the grass. You do not need to put a nail or screw into your model.
