Scatter Matters

If you are new to railway modelling you might be scratching your head wondering what we mean by “scatter”. Also known as “ground cover” scatter consists of tiny particles of different materials used to model landscaping elements such as grass, foliage, soil and ballast. No one is quite sure of the origin of the term as it relates to model railway foliage but it’s a term you’ll need to get used to as you design and build your imaginary railway.
