A great way to explore model railway layouts and learn new tricks and techniques is to follow some experts on YouTubers who share their experiences, their designs, and their tips on how to create some of their scenes. We have compiled a list of the top modellers you should check out if you want to expand your knowledge and grow your skills. 

Luke Towan 

Master of scenery, Luke Towan is an exceptional go-to resource when you want to level up your model railway layouts and dioramas. 

Ron’s Trains N Things

Ron’s Trains N Things is a great resource for anyone interested in model railways. He shares model railway tips, tools and techniques to help you get started and keep improving your layouts. 

Sam’s Trains

Sam’s Trains has a lot of easy-to-follow and understand informative resources on setting up the basics of your model railway layout, such as choosing your first locomotives, and how to set up DCC. 

Modelling with Martyn

The authority on static grass and scenery, Martyn is bank of knowledge and brimming with enthusiasm. You’ll not only learn professional scenery techniques but leave with even more passion for your hobby. 

Model Railway Fantasia 

Although this is a young YouTube channel, Mark is a fantastic modeller that gets great results.

New Junction 

Richard is highly informative and works within the industry, so you know all of his insights, tips and tricks are the best of the best. 

Jennifer Kirk

Jenny is the fountain of all knowledge; she has a great Monday night live show and appears on many of the hobby’s TV shows. 

Kathy Millatt 

Kathy is a great modeller, not just in railways but in general. You will pick up some great tips from watching her.

Contact Support

If you email us at customerservice@restore.wwscenics.com straight away after placing the order, we might be able to change or cancel your order. Once your order has been processed however it is not possible to change or cancel it.

Login into your WWScenics account and go to Orders, then click on View your latest order. At the bottom of the page, you will see Tracking Information with the Provider, Tracking number and Date. Click on the Track button in order to track your order on the provider’s website.

Answer...Unfortunately, we do not sell different sized sieve heads for the Micro Applicator. Only the Pro Grand Applicator comes with three different sized sieve heads.

Here are some key things for you to check when applying static grass using our applicator:

  • Use a powerful brand-new battery (PP3 9V battery).
  • Do not fill the hopper with too much grass, as the grass needs to have space to move.
  • Only apply a smear of basing glue on the required area and make sure to apply the basing grass before it dries. Room temperature can affect this.
  • Do not apply too much basing grass to the area. If you cover the basing glue with too much grass it will not stand but go flat.
  • Once you have applied the basing grass and cannot see the basing glue anymore, add some layering spray before applying the layering grass.
  • Make sure the crocodile clip is near the applicator's head when applying the grass. You do not need to put a nail or screw into your model.

Unfortunately, we do not have any stockists in Europe or North America. All our products are sold online and shipped from the UK.
